Day 36

Well Seton’s nights of little to no sleep continue…

It is Friday and he is meeting with his speech therapist in a little while. So today I want to pray for his desire to eat by mouth, his ability to swallow properly, and his tummy. He has been gagging (retching) a lot this morning which is common after the g-tube placement and fundoplication surgery that he had, but he has not done this in a few months. It starts when the stomach gets stretched, so when you increase their food intake this is normal. He has been on the same amount of food since his surgery and the same rate of flow for a couple of months.
