Today I want to pray specifically for Seton’s eyes and ears.
Dr. H’s comment about knowing that the glasses are working we just don’t know
what gets through to the brain, really got me thinking about them the past two
days. (By the way… Seton does not wear glasses; Dr. H was referring to his eyes
as glasses.)
We are going to pray for all the cranial nerves and the
pathways from his eyes and his ears. Pray that they are properly connected and
that all information can pass freely, without interruption. Seton loves to
watch things that light up and sing, and we pray that he truly sees and hears
everything around him.
Will you also pray for his feeding button, it has been
really bothering him last night and early this morning. When he woke up at
3:30am, he was screaming and trying to pull his legs to his tummy; and his
button was bleeding (that happens with this infection, I guess). I had to pin
him down and rock him back to sleep. He woke up at 6:30 doing the same thing…
Thanks as always!
~Shawna~
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For
our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far
outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is
unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthinans 8:16-18
