For those we haven't had a chance to communicate with yet, Seton passed on to his eternal life last night around 9:16 PM.  Our hearts are very heavy right now, but our spirits are so happy for him.  He made us forever proud, and we know he has no more struggles and has won the prize.  We will post an update in the near future when we're able to get some time, but for now - God is good.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. - 2 Timothy 4:7

  1. I've been following your story through a friend since you first learned there may be an issue with Seton's development. Being pregnant at the time, Seton's original due date was just a few days before my son's due date so it brought the reality of how precious life is home. I'm praying for your family as you go through this difficult journey.
    Love and prayers from Belgium!

  2. Yall don't know me, but my mom & Terri are friends from way back. I, too, followed Seton's journey as my first born was born just 2 months after Seton. Your story has been an inspiration to me & my husband. We never take one moment for granted. We love & laugh harder than ever. I know that Seton the Strong is dancing and singing in Heaven, basking in the warm glow of Our Father's eternal love. Bless all of you!

  4. You don't know me, but I'm a long time friend of Terri's and I want to say thank you so much for sharing your story with everyone. Seton has touched my heart from the beginning and I'm sure that God worked through him to change many lives. He had such a fight all his short life, but now he is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus. I've been praying for him all along, but now I will focus all my prayers on you and your family. Your amazing faith and love for the Lord shines through you in your writing and inspires me. Thank you for sharing your sweet angel with all of us. May God Bless and comfort you and yours.

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you...truly. I know first hand that there are no words that will take away the pain. So all I can say is cling to each other in these dark times and know that God is holding you both so closely right now. It WILL get better. Love and prayers.

  8. Dear Zane and Shawna,

I'm so glad that the both of you have faith in God and His Son, Jesus.

After spending much of the day reading about Seton's story, I feel almost as if I have personally met him and you, his loving parents. What a precious little boy he is! I so much want to meet him in Paradise. Praise the Almighty God who is sure to make that possible! (John 5:28, 29)
